1. Eat them after you go Apple Picking.
2. Do an Apple Unit Study.
3. Dry Apples and make a garland great for decorating.
This makes everything smell wonderful.
4. Make an apple pie.

Make something you wouldn’t normally make.
Last week I made Turnip Greens w/ Apples. It was amazing! I got the recipe in my Farm Table box. You can get the recipe in the Sept. 20, 2012 Newsletter. I would have never made turnip greens, but since they were in my co-op food box, I thought I’d try them. It turned out very good. And it was a way to use my apples that I had never tried before.
